Xaraya is reaching 1.0 over the coming weeks. Will Mats consider porting the OWL over to Xaraya?
Xaraya now has LDAP integrated which makes it a strong candidate for corporate users. Flexible secure document management is the only component lacking from Xaraya. With the Owl integrated it will be without comparison. The combination of the two makes for a system that offers more features and stability (plus open source code) than the big commercial platforms (M$ sharepoint, iplanet, websphere etc).
The Xaraya Development team has demonstrated great depth with over 30 developers all with a strong commitment to the Xaraya project. The Xaraya team have remained focused on the original Postnuke vision set in place during the adam_baum times.
I know you have put a huge effort into this thing already only to see Postnuke dissolve into a big brown steaming mess and fully understand if you decide to give the whole thing a miss. I just hope you take a look at Xaraya. The one thing it offers that the others can-not is stability. Post 1.0 the Developers have commited to stability. No more major design changes that cause you pain.
Anyhoo, I think iv'e ranted long enough.
